Shrimp Fra Diavolo
Ingredients
1 can San Marzano Tomatoes
2 garlic cloves, mashed
1 tbsp olive oil
1 1/2 sweet onions, chopped
1 tbsp dried basil
1 tbsp dried oregano
1/2-1 tsp red pepper flakes
1 tsp kosher salt
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
1 pound shrimp
parsley for garnish
Instructions
In a large sauce pan sauté the garlic in olive oil. Add in the onions and cook until softened. Add in the tomatoes and spices and bring to a boil then simmer over a low heat. Once the sauce comes to your desired thickness (about 15-20 minutes) add in the shrimp. Cook the shrimp through. Serve over your favorite pasta or alternative.
